We all like to judge a book by its cover. Well, the truth is that the external package always seems to appeal us in the first instance. When we meet a guy, we start judging him by his watch, shoes, hairstyle and the number of platinum cards he holds. The external package encases a possible prince charming or may be a boyfriend from hell that one has to actually go ahead and explore. Girls are always caught up with the first look that is displayed in the first instance. Well, that’s obvious too anything that is good does attract everyone. However, there is something more that can help you reveal the character of a man. If you wish to know more about the cute guy you met at the pub or in a restaurant, just follow him when is out in the park with his dog. A recent research states a few rules of social connection.
The modern man is better recognized with the relationship he has with his pet. “There is a definite correlation between a guy’s dog and his personality” as said by Liana Sepulveda, the supervisor at Centinela Feed & Pet Supplies in Santa Monica. Traditionalists have always believed that dogs match the personality with their owners. However, according to modern researchers, the dog does not inherit the qualities of master but probably the other way round. Youngsters who are a bit of unfriendly nature and less agreeable in comparison to their peers are likely to have aggressive pets or dogs. Breeds preferred by them would be Bull Terrier, Labrador Retriever, Collie, German Sheperd etc. It’s a common belief that people with such dogs are more interested to show off and impress the ladies. However, the study does not suggest any strong connection between the two but could be about their less agreeable social standing. As per Dr. Vincent Egan a lead researcher on this study has stated that owners of aggressive dogs are anti-social show offs but not committed to delinquent acts.
So, the next time you find a guy standing in the park with a German Sheperd, a Boxer or a Bull Terrier, you know what to judge about his personality. On the other hand, what do you have to say if you see him with a Labrador or a Mastiff? Else, how about a Chihuahua or a Poodle! J
