Desserts are a fantastic option to give that perfect ending to your meal. Eighty in hundred people love to take a bite of these scrumptious delights. Be it the cookies, pies, cakes, ice-creams or any other sugary treats- they are loved. No matter whichever country you belong to, each country has its own unique dessert at offer.
Well amidst all the fab desserts that we have eaten often, here I have got an interesting dessert to share with all.
Ever heard about Gateau Ganache? Here is the recipe, how to prepare this fantastic dish.
- 6 egg whites (room temperature)
- 6 oz crushed pecans
- 1 ½ tsp white vinegar
- 1 ½ cups sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
Put the egg whites in a large mixing bowl and let it for an hour, till it reaches the room temperature. Prepare two 8 inch cake pans in this manner: Cut two rounds of parchment paper so that it fits into the bottom of the pans. Grease and flour the cake pans, cover it with rounds of paper and grease and flour them.
Beat the egg whites till it is stiff and add the sugar and nuts to it at once and mix it gently with a metal spoon. Ahead to this, add vanilla and vinegar and mix it gently with a spoon pouring it in the prepared pans. Put it in the preheated oven and bake it for 35-40 minutes. Keep two wire cracks ready, so that as soon as the meringues are done, you will have to run a knife around the edges, cover it with the racks and turn it over so the meringues rest on the racks. Get the tins removed and peel of the parchment paper.
Now the icing part! To prepare the filling and icing, ingredients required:
3 ounces semi-sweet chocolate
½ pint whipping cream
Melt the chocolate in a double broiler or in a small bowl over hot water. During the cooling process, whip the cream and the sugar till gets stiff. Put half of the cream in a separate bowl and add half of the chocolate to it. Mix it gently! Place one meringue round on a serving plate and cover it with chocolate mixture. Top with the second meringue and cover it with the remaining cream. With the help of a spatula, dip into the chocolate and make swirls on the whipped cream so that it has a marbled effect. You can even grate a little chocolate over that and then keep it in the Refrigerator till it is ready to be served. And, finally the unique and delicious recipe is ready to serve.
